Weligama Bay Resort was opened in late 2008 and has a prized location on the edge of the secluded Weligama Bay, a spectacular southern cove “ a spectacular cove where the sea is often calm enough for swimming, snorkelling and surfing at any time of year. The resort has 20 luxurious bungalows, villas, and suites all with sea views. They have large slatted-timber windows, boarded teak floors, wooden ceilings and whitewashed walls. Interiors have contemporary furniture and modern fittings. Rooms are located on the first and second floors of the main building as well as in the garden leading to the beach. There is a lift in the main building.
