After early Breakfast, travel to Kandy   

En-route visit & learn how this ancient rock fortress (Sigiriya Rock) was built by King Kasyapa to be the capital and house the royal palace. Hear how it was transformed into a Buddhist monastery in the 14th century. 

See the exquisite frescoes that are approximately 1600 years old. Admire the Sigiriya Frescoes   that depict t he king's harem on the face of the rocks.    

Have a free hour, enjoy your Lunch.  

Sigiriya  –   Lion Rock Fortress     

After Lunch, You will be taken to Dambulla Cave Temple,  

Upon arriving at the Dambulla Cave Temple Complex, you will go directly to the Cave of the Divine King Devaraja Lena. View the 46ft. (14m) statue of Buddha made out of rock. Read the first century inscription at the entry of the cave telling of its origins. Continue over to the Cave of the Great Kings, the largest of the five caves.   

There, you will see 40-seated statues of Buddha, cave paintings on the ceiling, and more. The ceiling and wall paintings found in the Great New Monastery date back to the 1700s and provide you with a unique insight into the Buddhist Revivalist period. See a statue of King Kirti Sri Rajasinghe and 50 statues of Buddha. 

And then there on Return to Kandy.

After Breakfast proceed to play golf at Victoria Golf Course for your 1st round of 18hole golf.

Victoria Golf Club is Sri Lanka’s newest International Golf Course. The 6890 yd. Par 73 Championship  Course features a host of memorable golf holes. Designed by Donald Steel, the renowned British  Golf Architect, the layout has taken full advantage of an extremely gifted site with its rolling terrain,   

Superb views of the Victoria Reservoir, the Knuckles Range and the majestic forest trees through which the course has been skillfully routed.   

The greens, tees and fairways have been planted with imported varieties of Bermuda grass and the greens are built to the specifications of the United States Golf association.

After  Breakfast proceed to play golf at Victoria Golf

After some super rounds of play, have some free leisure time.   

After that, visit Royal Botanical Garden (Optional).

In the evening visit Kandy (City Tour),   

Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a World Heritage Site. The name “Kandy” conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit Bazaar area, Arts & crafts center, a Gem museum and a lapidary etc.   

In the evening (Optional) visit Temple of the Tooth Relic. Late evening witness the Cultural Show.

Kandy /  Nuwara Eliya

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Nuwara Eliya.   

After having some rest proceed to play golf at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.   

The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club is one of the oldest Golf Clubs in Sri Lanka. Established in the late 19th century, it is located in the hill station of Nuwara Eliya.   

  The 18-hole course, 6399 yards long, is a testing par 71 and is made up of long, narrow fairways, bordered by rows of towering eucalyptus trees and elegant cypresses, held together by dense acacia shrubbery. Good positional play is must for a positive outcome and the course terrain, with its succession of undulating dales and hills, and the many water hazards, confronts the serious golfer with a series of stimulating challenges. Yet, despite its natural difficulties, it also caters to both the casual golfer and the enthusiastic amateur. The grass on the greens is local, mixed with bluegrass. We welcome golfers of all ages and abilities.  

The very next Day   

After Breakfast, have some super rounds of playing Golf at Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.   Then onwards,  Commence Nuwara Eliya City Tour including Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, Water Falls, and Tea Factory & Estate. 

Nuwara Eliya – The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations.  It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence.  Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

After early Breakfast Golfers will proceed to Royal Colombo Golf club of 18hole Golf.   

Royal Colombo Golf club is 6431 yards long (par 71). A flat course with board fairways which looks simple to beginners but there are many water hazards and well-guarded bunkers which quickly change his opinion The Royal Colombo Golf Club is easily accessible being 10 – 15  minutes’ drive from all major hotels in the city.     

Evening Colombo City Tour & Shopping,   

Colombo – a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith's quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of  Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square.
